Conair Corp foot bath with bubbles & heat...
I received the Conair Corp foot bath as a Christmas gift. I had the opportunity to try it out today.
Bubbles...yes / Heat...not even close. This is Conairs model FB5XW 11PS122983 (made in China of course). Wal-Mart item #401****. My fiance is an electrical engineer so he took it out to his shop and opened it up to see what the problem was and why it wouldn't heat.
Well, before too long, he came back in and advised me that it will never heat since there was no sign of any type of heating equipment installed...non whatsoever. I guess the Chinese don't have a word for "quality".
Other than that it works okay. But if you want heated water you'll have to use pre-heated water because this unit just won't cut it.

I TAKE IT YOU DIDNT TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE PRODUCT MANUAL WHERE IT CLEARLY STATES "The heat setting is designed to maintain the temperature of warm water, not to heat water." WHICH ACCORDING TO YOUR STATEMENT "if you want heated water you'll have to use pre-heated water" AGREES WITH WHAT THE MANUAL IN FACT SAYS.
Well, since potential buyers don't have an opportunity to read the product manual BEFORE buying, they have to depend on what is written on the package. It clearly states HEAT!
The lady from Phoenix and I naturally assumed it means there must be a heat source. Don't be so smug. (You would certainly assume the same thing although with your attitude I am not so sure you have 2 brain cells to rub together so maybe you can't make logical assumptions.) And, even with preheated water how in the *** do you think a plastic bucket with no heat source is going to "maintain" any heat?
Heated water cools as soon as it leaves its heat source. Period, end of discussion.
